Children’s Mentoring Programs

The Life Coaching 4 Kids Foundation offers a year-round mentoring program for children ages 8-14, designed specifically for kids with an incarcerated parent. Our program provides ongoing hope, healing, and support to help them navigate the emotional challenges they face. We help reduce the emotional and behavioral effects that parental incarceration, such as depression, PTSD, and academic challenges. Through tailored guidance and mentorship, we build a long-term, 10-year commitment to each child and their family, fostering resilience, emotional well-being, and success as they grow into adulthood. Our goal is to create a strong foundation for their future, empowering them to thrive despite their circumstances.

Teen Leadership Mentoring programs

The Life Coaching 4 Kids Foundation’s Teen Leadership Mentoring Program is a one of a kind, Teen Life Coaching program designed for teens ages 15-17 with incarcerated parents. This year-round program provides mentorship and leadership development, helping teens build confidence, emotional resilience, and critical life skills. Our long-term, 10-year commitment ensures each teen receives the guidance and support needed to thrive into adulthood. By addressing their unique emotional needs, we empower them to overcome challenges, strengthen family bonds, and pave the way for a successful future.need to strengthen their families and foster hope and healing.

Summer Adventure Camps

Club Courageous, hosted by the Life Coaching 4 Kids Foundation, is an exciting summer adventure camp for children ages 8-14 with incarcerated parents. Over four Saturdays in July and August, campers enjoy thrilling field trips, including visits to amusement parks, Bearizona, and more! In addition, Club Courageous offers a memorable 3-5 day overnight camp in the scenic Payson, Arizona, where kids can connect, explore, and build lasting friendships in a safe and supportive environment. This camp is designed to inspire confidence, create joyful memories, and provide hope for the future.

Supervised Visits

Life Coaching 4 Kids Foundation provides supervised visits for families facing safety concerns, such as allegations of child abuse, domestic violence, or parent alienation. We also support parents with a history of substance abuse or mental health challenges, as well as those seeking to build a relationship with a child they’ve never connected with before. Our goal is to help families rebuild strong, lasting bonds for the future. As a nonprofit dedicated to providing hope, healing, and reunification services, we offer year-round support tailored to the unique emotional needs of children and families impacted by incarceration and/or the Department of Child Safety.

Parent and Child Reentry and Rehabilitation Program

The “New YOU, New ME” program, part of Parenting Beyond Bars at Life Coaching 4 Kids Foundation, is designed to help incarcerated women reconnect with their children six months before their release. This reentry and rehabilitation program focuses on both the parent and child, guiding parents in developing strong parenting skills, fostering healthy communication, and letting go of guilt. Meanwhile, children are taught forgiveness and healthy ways to express their emotions. The program provides continuous support both during incarceration and for a year after release, ensuring families can rebuild bonds and create a positive, lasting impact on their future.

Caregiver Support Groups

The Life Coaching 4 Kids Foundation offers a caregiver support group for guardians caring for children ages 8-17 with an incarcerated parent. This group provides a safe and supportive space for caregivers to connect, share experiences, and gain valuable resources to help navigate the challenges of raising a child impacted by incarceration. Our year-round programs are tailored to meet the unique emotional needs of these children, and the caregiver group ensures that those providing care also receive the support they need to strengthen their families and foster hope and healing.
